What Do You Need to Bring?

  • Request for Inspection Form: You must obtain this form from an Alberta Registry Agent before bringing your vehicle to our shop.
  • Valid Identification: A piece of government-issued photo ID (like a Driver's License).
  • Proof of Ownership: The original bill of sale or previous registration documents.
  • A Clean Vehicle: Please ensure the interior and exterior are reasonably clean so our mechanics can properly inspect all components.

Out of Province Inspection FAQ's

How long does an Out of Province Inspection take?

A standard OOP inspection is very thorough and typically takes about 2 hours to complete. We recommend dropping your vehicle off or waiting in our comfortable lounge.

We offer a transparent, flat rate of $200 + GST for most standard passenger makes and models. Heavily modified or commercial vehicles may have different rates.

If your vehicle doesn’t pass, we will provide a detailed report of exactly what needs to be fixed. You have 14 days to complete the required repairs and return for a re-inspection.
Yes! As a full-service garage, our mechanics can handle any required repairs right here in our shop. However, you are under no obligation to use our repair services and can choose to have it fixed elsewhere.
Once your vehicle passes, the inspection certificate is valid for 14 days. You must take this certificate to an Alberta Registry Agent within that timeframe to register your vehicle.
